This conference will feature a Program Session from 5 – 7 p.m. and a business session from 7 – 9 p.m.

During the Program Session, attendees will hear from the Provincial President and Coordinator, as well as the President of the House of Deputies of the Executive Convention of the Episcopal Church. Deputies to the 81st General Convention will have an opportunity to connect with Provincial ministries, as well as to gather in a shared Zoom space with deputies from all 7 Province 1 dioceses in advance of June’s meeting in Louisville. Other attendees will discuss Province 1 and the 2024 General Convention in their own shared Zoom breakout room. 

 Following the Program Session, a Business session will be called to order. The business of this meeting of Provincial Conference is to elect a Clergy Representative to the Executive Council of General Convention, which meets to govern the Episcopal Church between gatherings of General Convention. Province 1 elects a lay representative and a clergy representative to this body to a 6-year term.

 Delegates and Bishops will be send candidate information for the Executive Council Clergy Representative election on May 8.
